"St." Valentines is a popular holiday in Japan, although it is celebrated much differently than in the U.S. On Feb. 14 the girls and women in Japan give chocolates and sweets to the men in their lives. This is reciprocated in March by the men, on a day know as "White Day". There is a huge rush to buy chocolates around the holiday, and you can sample some of the tastiest chocolates in the world (as far as I know). Thousands of people all browsing through hundreds of chocolate vendors booths, enjoying the process of choosing just the right sweet gift. I found these origami hearts on my chalkboard. Probably the cutest Valentines I've ever recieved! They say in katakana English, AIRABUYU!
